Scripture:   1Thessalonians (NIV) 2:11  For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children,

12 encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worth of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

Observation:   Being a Christian is more than a Sunday exercise.  My whole life is to be lived worthy of God who has called me into his kingdom and glory.

Application:  If I am to live my life worthy of God, I need to go through each day thoughtfully choosing words and actions that identify me with God and then make Him look good in the eyes of others.  His holiness is seen in how I deal with myself.  His love is seen in how I deal with others.

Prayer:   Lord, I want people to see that I value you.  I want people to see that I consider it a great privilege to be your child.   Amen
