At 7:54 a.m. Sunday, officers, EMS personnel and firefighters responded to a code black medical emergency in the 300 block of North Cherry. Grant Harrold, 46, of McPherson was found unresponsive. He was transported to McPherson Hospital, where he died. The cause of death is not yet known, and officers report that the investigation is ongoing.

At 9:36 p.m. Sunday, an officer took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Sunday, in the 600 block of Sonora. Damaged was done to a vehicle. Estimated losses are $1,000.

At 2:03 a.m. Sunday, deputies, a Kansas Highway Patrol officer and a Canton officer arrested Daniel Scott Borgen of Galva on a McPherson District Court warrant for aggravated indecent solicitation of a child under 14 years of age. Borgen was held pending a $10,000 bond. Also arrested was Chad Schropp, 25, of McPherson on a charge of domestic battery. A $500 bond was posted.

At 4:51 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested Rudy Martinez of McPherson on multiple McPherson Municipal warrants for failure to appear. A $2,401 bond was posted.

LINDSBORG —At 12:47 p.m. Sunday, EMS personnel, firefighters, Kansas Highway Patrol officers and Salina officers responded to an injury accident at I-135 southbound, mile marker 82. George Logan Meinhardt of Salina was in the accident. Meinhardt was driving a motorcycle northbound on I-135 when he drifted into the median for unknown reasons. He then crossed into the southbound lane, skidded across both lanes and came to rest on the right shoulder of the southbound lane. Meinhardt received severe injuries, and was transported by EMS to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis.
