McPherson High’s Dylan Blosser shot an 85 Monday in the Class 4A State Boys Golf Tournament at Cheney’s Cherry Oaks Golf Course.
The junior, making his second straight State appearance, finished at 65th in the competition amidst eight other players who also shot an 85.
Wichita Collegiate took the team title with a combined score of 299. Kansas City Piper was runner-up with a 305, followed by Topeka Hayden and Buhler, both of whom shot 316’s.
Individually, Iola’s Kaden Macha took the individual championship with a 72. Macha won the title in a playoff with Collegiate’s Camron Chugg and KC Piper’s Montana Fasching.
Piper’s Charlie Rinehart was fourth (73), followed by Goodland’s Gage Ihrig (74).
