  • Mac man allegedly kidnaps woman

  • At 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, officers arrested Lance Michael Bowley, 18, of McPherson after an ex-girlfriend reported she was held by Bowley against her will.

  • At 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, officers arrested Lance Michael Bowley, 18, of McPherson after an ex-girlfriend reported she was held by Bowley against her will.
    The woman, age 18, of McPherson, reportedly showed up to Bowley’s residence voluntarily, where Bowley allegedly took her cell phone by force and held her from 11 p.m. Monday until 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, when Bowley allowed her to leave.
    Bowley also reportedly followed her both before and after the incident, and made threats against her.
    While the woman suffered some bruises, she had no major injuries. She was later taken to McPherson Hospital by a personal vehicle for a checkup.
    Police arrested Bowley in the 100 block of West Marlin on charges of domestic battery, kidnapping, robbery, stalking, sexual battery and criminal threats. He is being held pending a $6,500 bond.
    Police are still investigating the case.
