  • The McPherson and Reno County Catbackers are planning a golf outing, dinner and auction for Tuesday.

  • The McPherson and Reno County Catbackers are planning a golf outing, dinner and auction for Tuesday.
    The golf outing will be held at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson with a 10:30 a.m. check-in.
    The outing will feature special guests Laird Veatch,  senior associate athletic director for strategic initiatives; Chad Weiberg, senior associate athletic director/development; Lon Floyd, assistant athletics director/development events; Mike Clark, K-State Athletics director of development; Nate Warren assistant director of development; and Wyatt Thompson, the Voice of the Wildcats.
    The dinner will be held at the 4-H Encampment Building on the Kansas State Fairgrounds beginning with a time to mingle at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:15 p.m.
    In addition to the guests from the golf outing will be K-State men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber; women’s basketball coach Deb Patterson; assistant football coach Blake Seiler, Amy Button Renz, president and CEO of the K-State Alumni Association; and Gavin Hargrave, the associate director of alumni programs for the K-State Alumni Association.
