A total of 68 teams from around the area converged on McPherson Saturday and Sunday for the 11th annual Summer Slam tournament from the McPherson Baseball Association.
Teams ranged in age from 9 to 14 and played on fields in both McPherson and Galva.
"We were very happy that Galva and McPherson College were able to help us out by letting us use their fields," MBA president Grant Myers said. "This was the largest tournament we have ever had and it was probably the best one yet."
The Manhattan Braves won the 9U tournament with a win over Riley County. The 10U tournament came down to an all-Manhattan final, as the 10U Braves met the Manhattan Titans, with the Titans winning the championship.
The Titans also won the 12U tournament with a win over the Wichita Reds.
The Salina Nitro defeated the Barton Bandits 1-0 in the 11U title game in Galva Sunday afternoon.
The Midwest Stixx won both the 13U and 14U championships. They defeated Cottonwood Valley to win the 13U title and the Salina Rangers in the 14U championship game.
