Hannah Renee Phelps of Abilene, Kan., and David Goering of Hillsboro, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at the Village Bible Church in Salina.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Connie Phelps of Abilene and the groom is the son of Charles and Annora Goering of Marion.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and the ceremony was performed by Pastor Carson Johnson. Marty Colborn was the soloist, and the pianist was Paula Herbert. Jody Herbert played her flute.
Elizabeth Phelps, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Joseph Goering, brother of the groom, was the best man. Gracie Kruse, niece of the groom, was the flowergirl, and Caleb Phelps, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Ushers were John Goering, brother of the groom; Nathaniel Klassen, nephew of the groom; and Joshua and Nathan Phelps, brothers of the bride. Karen Steffen was the wedding coordinator.
After the wedding ceremony, David and Hannah greeted each guest as they personally dismissed each row of guests. The reception was in the basement of the church. Rehearsal dinner was at Coyote Canyon in Salina and was hosted by the groom’s parents. After their honeymoon trip, the new couple resides in Hillsboro.
