  • Jessica Ann Schmidt of Kansas City, Mo., and Denton John Lambrecht of Omaha, Neb., were united in marriage at 7 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence, Kan.
    The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Kathy Schmidt of McPherson, and the groom is the son of Bob and Brenda Lambrecht of Hoyt, Kan. Grandparents are Francis and Susan Lambrecht of Mayetta, Kan., and Jim and Sandy Rickel of Hoyt, Kan.
    A double ring ceremony, was performed by Rev. David Hinkle of Topeka, Kan. The Oread Strings Duo provided various selections.
    The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory Luxe Taffeta fit and flair gown with lace overlay. The gown featured a v-neck with a romantic low back and a black French wide satin sash. She wore an ivory hummingbird veil accented with pearls. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of sunflowers, peach and fushia roses, solidago, aspidistra and hypericum with lace and pearls.
    Sarah Schmidt Hopkins, sister of the bride, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was Matron of Honor. Erin Wilden, sister of the bride of South Jordan, Utah, Kaylen Tieffenbrunn, of Kansas City, Malory Shaath of Springfield, N.J., and Katie Church of Wellington, Kan., all friends of the bride, served as bridesmatrons. They wore black dresses of their choosing and each carried a hand-tied sunflower bouquet with ivory lace and pearls.
    Daylon Lambrechet, brother of the groom, of Topeka, Kan., was best man. Tigg Neundorf, of Omaha, Neb., Abram Strahm of Topeka, Kan., Derik Cook, of McClouth, Kan., and Kyle Neilson of Burlingame, Kan., all friends of the groom, were groomsmen. They wore black tuxes with Euro ties, styled similar to the groom. Sam Smith, friend of the groom, of Overland Park, Kan., served as usher.
    McKinah Faust, niece of the groom, of Topeka, Kan., was the flower girl and Ethan Wilden, nephew of the bride of South Jordan, Utah, was the ring bearer.
    Casandra Conley, and Ciana Faust, sisters of the groom, of Kansas City, were guest book attendants. Stephanie Lanning, friend of the bride, of Overland Park, Kan., was the gift table attendant.
    A reception and dance was conducted in the Griffith Ballroom at the Oread Hotel.
    A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was conducted at Johnny’s Tavern in Lawrence.
    The couple plans a honeymoon at a later date. They reside in Omaha, Neb.
