Brienne Scott and Jason Toler were married at 4 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, in an outdoor ceremony at the Richard’s Hart Estate in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
Brienne Scott and Jason Toler were married at 4 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, in an outdoor ceremony at the Richard’s Hart Estate in Wheat Ridge, Colo. The officiant was Dr. James Russom, director of pastoral ministries at Nazarene Bible College, Colorado Springs, Colo.
The bride’s parents are Tom and Ginna Scott, of McPherson. The groom’s parents are Steve and Cynthia Lavallee of Alamogordo, N.M.
Brienne was escorted by her father. She was attended by Jessica Bohnenblust (maid of honor), Eryca Rizzo, Havah Bilow, and Marti Font. Jason was attended by Steve Lavallee.
Brienne wore a champagne-colored charmeuse gown, with a ruched side-drape, a ribbon sash featuring a beautiful appliqué detail, and a sweep train.
She carried a spring flower bouquet created by Dru and Katie McLeland, aunt and cousin of the bride.
The reception was held in the manor of the Richard’s Hart Estate. Johnny Carino’s catered the Italian meal. Mary Scott, great aunt of the bride, made the cake.
Also helping with the wedding and reception were Damon, Charleen and Alexia Toler (children of the groom), David Kilby (friend), and Sharon Scott (cousin).
The bride was feted with bridal showers hosted by her Scott cousins in Thornton, Colorado in March; and by the women of First Baptist Church in McPherson in April.
After a honeymoon in Italy, the couple is making their home in Denver.
