The McPherson Chamber of Commerce 42nd Rural Appreciation Hamburger Feed will be 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at 4-H barn, 600 W. Woodside, McPherson.
The event is a partnership with the McPherson County 4-H Fair to celebrate the youth in their agriculture projects and endeavors, as well as celebrating the completion of harvest.
Admission is paid for and sponsored by members of the McPherson Chamber of Commerce. Tickets available from participating sponsors, listed on the Chamber website at www.mcphersonchamber.org.
Donate school supplies during Main Event
Main Street businesses will be accepting donations of schools supplies in exchange for incentives Thursday during Main Event.
Items needed include reams of white or colored copy paper, 100 count wide-ruled notebook paper, large boxes of facial tissue, and Wal-Mart gift cards of $5 or more.

See ‘Babe’ in the park
Saturday’s Movie in the Park will be “Babe.”
All movies begin at dark at the Lakeside Park band shell.
Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs.
In case of rain, the movie will be shown at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the McPherson Community Building, 122 E. Marlin.

Attend MHS Alumni Weekend
McPherson High School has scheduled its annual reunion weekend for Friday and Saturday at the Holiday Center in the Best Western Holiday Manor Hotel.
Those classes being recognized are as follows: 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998 and 2003.
All McPherson High School graduates are invited to Friday night activities at the Convention Center at the Holiday Manor.

Visit the McPherson County 4-H Fair this week
Three days are left in the McPherson County 4-H Fair. Today there will be the rabbit show, poultry judging, dairy goat show, dairy show, beef show, bucket calf conference, Barnyard Olympics at 7:30 p.m., as well as conference judging throughout the day.
Wednesday, there will be third-grade participation, hand pet show, Passport 4-H event, Livestock Skill-A-Thon, water carnival , popsicle party, dog agility, swine show, as well as more conference judging.
Thursday, the Annual Recognition Luncheon will be at noon at Holiday Manor. The Round Robin Showmanship contest will be at 5 p.m. The Buyer Appreciation Dinner will be at 6 p.m. The livestock sale will be at 7:30 p.m.
