  • Arianna Bryant of Las Vegas, Nev., has signed a letter of intent to play women's golf at Bethany College for the 2013-2014 academic year.

  • Arianna Bryant of Las Vegas, Nev., has signed a letter of intent to play women's golf at Bethany College for the 2013-2014 academic year.
    Bryant comes to Bethany from Cimarron Memorial High School, where she played varsity women's golf for three years. She earned first team All-Northwest League honors, first team All-Sunset Region honors, first team All-Southwest League honors and second team All-Las Vegas honors.
    Academic honors Bryant earned include Scholar Athlete Award, Nevada All-State Academic Team, Cimarron High School Honors Medallion, Summerlin Lions Club Student of the Year, Torch Academic Award, Lamp Academic Award, High Honors Graduate and Straight A's and O's Award.
    Bryant also was involved in music in high school receiving a superior rating at the National Federation of Music Clubs as well as a I rating at the Las Vegas Music Teachers Association Festival.
    “We are excited to begin a women's golf program with such a quality person and golfer,” Swede coach Jon Daniels said. “She will be a great ambassador for Bethany and the women's program.”
    Bryant is the daughter of JR Bryant and Judi Jones Bryant. She has a 4.6 grade point average and plans to major in engineering.
