The Sixth Annual Summer Brewfest at Indian Ranch on Saturday will host 25 breweries and three cideries, including three of the newest brewing companies in the state.
The newest breweries to be featured are the Bay State Beer Company, based in Leicester; Battle Road Brewing Company, brewed at Ipswich; and Kretschmann Brewing Company, a brand new brewery in Webster that I haven’t had a chance to check out yet.
Other breweries participating this weekend include Wormtown Brewery, Wachusett Brewing Company, Notch Brewing, Blue Hills Brewing Company, Harpoon Brewery, Samuel Adams, Olde Burnside Brewing, Long Trail Brewing, Traveler’s Beer Company, Magic Hat, Shipyard Brewing Company, Sea Dog Brewing Company, Red Hook, Narragansett Beer, Good Island, Kona Brewing Company, Widmer Brothers Brewing, Ithaca Beer Company, Shock Top, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Boulevard Brewing Company, Blue Moon and Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company.
Ciders from Angry Orchard and Woodchuck Hard Cider will also be available.
There will also be food available from Bistro Eighty Ate’s and BT’s Smokehouse (fabulous BBQ). Friendly Liquors will be selling cigars and the band Overdrive will be providing tunes for the day.
