Law enforcement responded to two roll-over accidents Tuesday.
The first accident occurred at about 8 a.m. Tuesday on Fifth Avenue about .4 miles north of Pawnee Road.
Jason Duffy of Salina was driving southbound on Fifth Avenue when his vehicle went off the road. He over corrected, and his vehicle rolled off an embankment. Duffy was transported to Lindsborg hospital by Marquette EMS.
Duffy’s condition was not available as of press time.
Two people were injured at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday when a truck driven by Leon Davis of Lindsborg collided with a truck driven by Brittany Sanders, 19, of McPherson.
Sanders was southbound on Ash Street. According to the pollice report, she failed to yield to Davis’ vehicle that was eastbound of Avenue A. Davis’ vehicle struck Sanders’ truck just past the passenger side door. The crash caused Sanders’ truck to roll over.
Sanders and a passenger were transported to McPherson Hospital. No one in Davis’ vehicle was injured.
Sanders was cited for failure to yield right of way to oncoming traffic.
Sanders and her passenger’s conditions were not available as of press time.
