Central Christian College head men's soccer coach Aaron Hoxie has announced the commitment of Jordan Howell, a senior from Wylie, Texas, to the 2013 soccer team. Howell played for Coach John True at Wylie East High School, where he earned recognition to the All District 2nd team. He comes to the college with a 3.1 GPA looking to study biology.
Hoxie said, on the field, Howell will add to the defensive unit that the staff has focused on this season.
"We intentionally went after many defenders because we only have one natural defender returning to the team this season," Hoxie said. "Jordan will give us much needed options on the outside. He is big for an outside back, fast, and loves to go forward. He spent some time playing as a winger for his various clubs, so that could provide handy for us this season."
The journey continues for the staff this season as they look to fill some very big holes in their lineup. Howell will be a great fit for the college this season. He will be joining his new teammates in a few short weeks.
