The McPherson College men’s soccer team went 0-2 during a road swing through Texas Labor Day weekend.
Against the University of Texas-Brownsville, the first half was an even one. Mac took the advantage with a goal from Doug Williamson but the Ocelots tied things up right before half and outplayed the Bulldogs in the second half to win 3-1.
The second contest of the trip was against host school Northwood University. The 'Dogs outshot NU in the second half, but couldn't find the goal to equalize, losing 1-0 and moving them to 2-0 for the season.
Two home games are next on the schedule for Bulldog soccer. Briar Cliff University and Morningside College make their way to McPherson for games on September 7th and 8th, respectively; both matches are set for 3:30 p.m. on the McPherson College grass soccer fields.
