Inman High School dropped only two sets Saturday on their way to the Solomon Tournament championship.
The Teutons defeated Wakefield in straight sets 25-12, 25-11 to open the tournament. They then defeated Peabody-Burns, one of the only two matches they lost a set in. Inman took the first set 25-13, but dropped the second 23-25. They rallied and won the third set in a 26-24 nailbiter.
Inman then defeated Elyria Christian School (25-8, 25-12), Solomon (25-23, 25-14) and Tescott (19-25, 25-12, 27-25) to set up a rematch with Peabody-Burns in the championship.
The Teutons defeated the Warriors in straight sets 25-15, 25-17 to win the title..
Elryia went 1-4 on the day, beating Wakefield 25-23, 24-26, 25-22.
They dropped matches to Solomon (15-25, 10-25), Tescott (17-25, 15-25) and Peabody-Burns (20-25, 19-25) in addition to the Inman game.
