  • A four-person golf scramble Oct. 5 at Turkey Creek Golf Course will benefit Carolyn Wylie and her family. Carolyn was diagnosed with breast cancer in June.

  • A four-person golf scramble Oct. 5 at Turkey Creek Golf Course will benefit Carolyn Wylie and her family. Carolyn was diagnosed with breast cancer in June. The cancer has since spread to her spine and its considered stage IV. She has worked for McPherson County Communication for many years, and her husband, Chase, works for the McPherson Police Department.
    Tee times will begin at 1 p.m. There will be a rules meeting at 12:30 p.m.
    At the conclusion of golf at 5:30 p.m., there will be a free-will donation dinner open to anyone. Live entertainment is being provided by Bad Dawgs. Registration for golf by Sept. 25 is $50 per person. Late registration is $65. For more information, call 620-654-7221. A benefit account has been set up at Peoples Bank in McPherson under the name Wylie Benefit Golf Tournament.
