Central Christian College was swept Saturday by Sterling, with the women falling 4-2, while the men lost 4-0.
The Tiger women gave up two goals in the first half, but rallied to cut into the lead after Krystina Powell knocked in a goal off an assist by Nikki Neal.
Sterling scored again, but Siara Quintana found the back of the net off a pass from freshman Allison Craig to make it 3-2. Unfortunately, the Warriors added an insurance goal and time expired on the Tigers (1-7).
The men were shutout for the third time in a row, giving up two goals in each half to the Warriors.
Sterling scored in the 40th minute of the first half, with the second coming not four minutes later. They scored in the 60th and 71st minutes in the second half to close out the scoring.
Central hosts McPherson College Wednesday.
