It was another three-set loss for MC volleyball as the Lady Falcons of Friends knocked off Mac in three close games, 25-18, 25-19 and 25-19. This is the fifth straight defeat for McPherson who is now 9-9 for the season, 1-4 in conference.
"I am so proud of the fight in my players," Bulldog coach Susan Barton said. "The work we are putting in is going to pay off in the long run. "The support we have been getting on campus and off has been great and we are going to continue to get better each time out."
In each one of the sets, it was a back-and-forth battle for the first 10-15 points but then a run or two by Friends put them ahead by just enough to hold off the Lady 'Dogs.
