At 11:24 p.m. Friday, an officer arrested Kelly S. Hardman, 34, on a charge of possession of marijuana and Jackson County warrants for possession of stolen property, driving while suspended, and no proof of insurance. She was released from the McPherson County Jail after posting $3,000 bond.
At 12:23 p.m. Saturday, an officer responded to the 1100 block of North Hospital Drive for a theft report. The victim had left three rings on a sink to wash her hands and forgotten them when she was finished. She returned ten minutes later to find the rings gone. The value of the rings is estimated at $5,000. An investigation is ongoing.
At 2:44 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 800 block of East Kansas for a theft report. A subject had removed approximately $15 in merchandise from a business. Officers identified the individual and conducted an interview. Charges will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.
