GALVA — A 56-year-old Junction City man was critically injured during an accident at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 56 near Galva.
A semi and a 2006 Chrysler mini-van were westbound on U.S. 56 near milepost 273. The semi rearended the van, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
John Harp of Junction City, the driver of the mini-van was taken to McPherson Hospital with critical injuries.
Harvey E. Eccles Jr., 60, of Burlington, the driver of the semi was unhurt in the accident, the KHP report said.
Harp's present condition was not known as of press time.
