Mason Alexander had a fantastic day with two touchdown passes, an interception return for a score and three PATs in the win.
His touchdown passes came to Brian Puhalla and Thomas Diggs, who also caught two of Alexander’s two-point conversions. Ben Pyle had the third PAT from Alexander.
Also getting in on the scoring smorgasbord was Drew Labertew, who had a punt return for a touchdown, with scoring runs from Andrew Powell and Nolan Shrader, who had two. Powell also added a PAT. Labertew hooked up with Wyatt Seidl for a point-after, as well.
Jayse Alexander added the final MMS PAT and grabbed an interception.
Devon Cape added a pick of his own, while Auston Hunt had a fumble recovery.
“Both the offensive and defensive lines played very aggressive,” MMS coach Brandon Labertew said.
The Bullpups move to 6-0 on the season and host Salina Lakewood Middle School in the season finale next week.
