In their third triangular of the season, Mac faced Ottawa University and No. 9 Park University in Ottawa, Kansas.
The Bulldogs lost both their matches by a combined score of 6-0. They are now 11-13 for the season and 3-5 against KCAC schools.
In their conference bout, MC stayed neck and neck with the Lady Braves for most of the match but fell towards the end of their first two sets, losing 25-19 and 21-25, and got off to a slow start in the final set dropping it 25-12.
The second set against OU was Mac's best of the three as it was the only game in which they had a positive hitting percentage at 23.1 percent.
Junior Tori Phelan and freshman Taylor Johnson led the way for the match with their six kills apiece.
Ashley Frankenbery posted 19 assists and seven digs in the loss while Emily Warner totaled 14 digs and one kill as the team's libero.
Match number two was against a very difficult Park University squad. The Pirates jumped out to early leads in each of the three sets, winning 25-11, 25-20 and 25-13.
Phelan boasted seven kills against PU. Frankenbery upped her assists as she tallied 20; she also had two kills and three digs.
Warner recorded another 14 digs and one kill.
McPherson has their next match up in Leavenworth, as they square off with the University of Saint Mary on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
