The Elyria Christian School high school cross-country team had three varsity runners earn medals last week during the Burrton Invitational.
The Eagles saw both competitors in the girls’ varsity race medal, as sophomore Moriah Redenbuagh finished third with a time of 18 minutes, 1.8 seconds, while Darian Trost finished ninth with a time of 19:36.2.
In the boys’ race, Marshall Williford put up an all-time personal best of 20:34 in taking 14th place.
“The medals just keep coming home with our tiny, little team,” Elyria coach Amy Trost said. “I am so proud of them and how hard they work on a daily basis to help themselves be better athletes.”
Bringing home a medal in the girls’ junior varsity race was Camille Anderson, who took third, though her time was unavailable.
