Three Tiger volleyball players played their final home match on Thursday night.
The Tigers honored Jessica Massie, Micah Barriball, and Victoria McCord before the match began, and then went out and made their final home match a memorable one by defeating the Calvary Bible College Warriors in straight sets 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.
Though the scores may indicate otherwise, the Tigers were in control the entire night.
The Tiger offense had a .212 attack percentage from 32 kills on 85 swings with 14 errors.
The leading Tiger hitter on the night was Mayuko Shono. Shono had 9 kills on 17 attacks with just two errors.
"It was a great win for our seniors tonight,” Central coach Christina Ludwick said. “All three of them have dedicated 4 years to this program and it was great to honor them at home tonight.”
The win gives the Tigers a 7-22 season record.
They will wrap up their season this weekend on the road at Central Baptist on Friday and College of the Ozarks on Saturday.
