City approves erosion control project at golf course
The city of McPherson has taken a positive step forward by approving funding to make improvements to stop erosion at Turkey Creek Golf Course.
Without these improvements, the course’s No. 5 hole would be threatened.
The project will cost about $14,000.
MC students provide holiday event for local children
We would like to thank the students and volunteers who made the Trunk or Treat possible Wednesday at McPherson College. This event has become an annual affair for the youth of the community.
This event is an excellent opportunity for the students at McPherson College to interact with the community at large.
Library staff uses Halloween to educate patrons
Halloween is not just for kids anymore. Adults are getting in the act as well. We received various reports of workers dressing up to celebrate the holiday.
We would like to give a special thumbs up to the staff of the McPherson Public Library who dressed up as literary characters in order to start conversations about some of their favorite books.
