    When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday
    Where: McPherson Community Building
    Who: A holiday shopping experience for children pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
    How does it work:
    Children are invited to do Christmas shopping of their own. All gifts at the market are $10 or less. Helper elves will be present to assist the children with their purchases. Free gift wrapping is available. Refreshments, crafts and music will be available. Santa also will make an appearance.

    Volunteers
    The event has volunteers from retired hospital auxiliary members to middle school and high school students. You can check www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4BA4AC29A0FF2-mini to see what volunteer positions need to be filled. The password to the Mini Main account is Mini2013. As of Tuesday, the event still needed elves to help the children do their shopping, people to wrap presents and volunteers to check children into the event.
