  • To Do This Weekend: McPherson Hospital Volunteer Services Christmas Cookie and Candy Sale

  • “We know everyone’s busy this time of year,” Koehn said, “and this is a great opportunity to stock up on the treats you and your family love. And it’s all thanks to the time and efforts of our volunteers.”

  • three event highlights
    1. The opportunity to win this year’s Christmas Quilt, crafted by the McPherson Hospital Volunteer Services Sewing Group. Tickets for a chance to win the quilt are available at the McPherson Hospital Gift Shop and will be available at the Cookie and Candy Sale until the drawing at 3 p.m. Tickets are $1 each, or $5 for seven.
    2. The opportunity to buy cookies and candy handmade by members of the McPherson Hospital Volunteer Services. For those who’ve wanted these sorts of traditional holiday foods but just haven’t had time to make them, this is an ideal opportunity. For those interested in more than just cookies and candy, the volunteers also make breads, TV mix, peppernuts, jams and jellies.
    3. All proceeds from the sale will go to future patient-related hospital projects, so McPherson Hospital can better serve the community.
