  • The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of scholarship dollars for area high school seniors for the 2014-2015 school year. Scholarships are available through several different funds at the Foundation.

  • The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of scholarship dollars for area high school seniors for the 2014-2015 school year.  Scholarships are available through several different funds at the Foundation.
    The Judith K. Burch Scholarship:  For high school seniors at Smoky Valley High School who will attend Bethany College.
    The Dr. Charles Englund Memorial Scholarship:  For students entering his/her junior or senior year at Bethany College majoring in a medical or pre-medical field.
    The Mona Peterson Community Service Scholarship:  For high school seniors in good standing from Smoky Valley High School, the Smoky Valley Home Educators or the Lindsborg Area Home Educators who are involved in community service activities.
    The Smoky Valley Elementary Education Scholarship:  For graduates of Smoky Valley High School or a home schooled senior living in the Smoky Valley school district who will major in elementary education.
    Applications are submitted through an online process at www.smokyvalleycf.org and are due by March 31.  For more information, call Robin Dutton, Executive Director at (785) 212-1536.
    The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Greater Salina Community Foundation.
