McPherson police
At 9:18 a.m. Wednesday, an officer took a report of theft in the 400 block of South Oak. Between Nov. 1 and Dec. 6, someone had stolen personal checks and a disability card. The card had $840 on it. It no longer has those funds.

At 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, officers assisted the Division of Child and Family Services in removing a 10-year-old child from a resident for possible neglect. A report will be sent to the prosecutor.

At 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, officers at McPherson High School arrested a juvenile on an arrest and detain order out of Ottawa County.

At 3:19 p.m. Wednesday, an officer spoke with a subject in the law enforcement center and took a report of denervation of property. Between 11 a.m. Tuesday and 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, an 18-year-old McPherson female lent a vehicle to a 19-year-old McPherson male. The vehicle has not been returned.

At 5:53 p.m. Wednesday, an officer took a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in the 800 block of East 1st Street. Between 7:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., someone had scrated the side of a vehicle belonging to a 17-year-old McPherson female. The damage was estimated at $1,000.
