Bret D. Dannenfelser, 46, passed away Feb. 4, 2014, at his residence, after a brief illness.
He was born May 5, 1967, at Wichita, the son of Charles Dannenfelser and Judith Diehl Dannenfelser.
He was a Marion High School graduate and attended college, becoming a licensed EMT. He later became a long-haul trucker, logging more than 2.5 million accident-free miles.
He is lovingly survived by his parents Charlie and Judy of Marion; his brother, Brian and his wife Stacy of Houston; and his sister, Jill Mason and her husband Todd of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; nieces: Chloe, Emma and Hayley; nephews: Jack and Dylan; special relatives: Eric Diehl of Fruita, Colo.; and Jennifer Fleske and her husband Carey and their daughter Lyndie of Brookside, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Florence United Methodist Church. A visitation with family will be conducted following the service at the Florence American Legion. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
