The preliminary March price received by farmers for winter wheat averaged $7.25 per bushel, an increase of 66 cents from the February price according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.

The preliminary March corn price, at $4.64 per bushel, is up 21 cents from last month.

The preliminary March sorghum price averaged 8.14 per cwt, an increase of 53 cents from February.

The preliminary March soybean price, at $13.50 per bushel, is up 30 cents from last month.

The March alfalfa hay price, at $172 per ton, is up $1 from last month. The other hay price, at $92 per ton, is down $14 from last month.

The preliminary March sunflower price averaged $23.80 per cwt. The February sunflower price was withheld to avoid disclosing data for individual operations.
