  • Another doubleheader, another no-hitter for the Little River baseball team.
This time, the victim was Bennington, as Grant Harvey was spectacular on the mound, striking out nine and allowing only four walks in the 10-0 win in game two.
Kyler Cox had the hot bat, as he went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Cordell Moore had and Laramie Peters both had two RBIs for the Redskins, who scored in every inning but the third.
An eight-run third inning highlighted a 12-2 beatdown in game one. It was Moore with the perfect 4-for-4 showing at the plate, as he drove in three and scored one, himself.
Zack Konen and Peters both added a pair of RBIs to the winning effort for Little River (7-3).
Levi Baldwin was almost untouchable on the mound, as he struck out 11 Bennington batters and only allowed a pair of hits. He walked five.
