USB FARMER-LEADERS WORK TO ENHANCE SOYBEAN FARMERS’ PROFIT POTENTIAL 

United Soybean Board (USB) volunteer farmer-leaders will gather for their annual summer meeting in Hershey, Pennsylvania, July 16-17. While there, they will hear proposals for next year’s programs, which are designed to maximize soybean farmers’ profit potential. They will also get updates on the progress of current work in USB’s four Action Teams – Meal, Oil, Freedom to Operate and Customer Focus.
Industry speakers at this meeting will include:
Mark Lynas, author, who is known as a former staunch biotech opponent and has since switched to being a GMO activist James Wiesemeyer, senior vice president of Informa Economics, will present on the outlook for farming, and issues impacting the ag industry
