  • Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church, 43 13th Avenue, Inman is determined to be people of God’s Mission through Worship, Fellowship and Service  and celebrates 140 years of faithful service to Jesus Christ.
     They invite the broader community to these special events planned in July.
    July 13, 7 p.m. — Willmar Harder & Hannah Neufeld will share about their work with Mennonite Central Committee during the past four years in Santa Cruz, Bolivia at Hoffnungsua Church.
    July 20,  7 p.m. – Historical program and worship will be held at the site of the former immigrant houses built for the first settlers to the Inman/Buhler area. Featured speakers will be Brian Stucky, sharing methods of locating former buildings and Glen Ediger, sharing research about area immigrant houses. There will be a brief worship service since the Hoffnungsau congregation worshipped in the immigrant houses for five years before construction of their first building. Bring lawn chairs. Location from Hoffnungsau church is 1.5 miles north on 13th Avenue, 1.5 miles west on Arrowhead Road. In case of bad weather program will be held at Hoffnungsau church.
    July 27, — Celebrating the Past, Faithfully Embracing the Future. Children’s activities, games and informal visiting from 9-9:45 a.m.
    Worship and Celebration service from 10-11:30 a.m.
      Fellowship meal hosted by the congregation at 12 p.m.
