Inman’s Dylan Jay Teeter finished out the first day of the 2014 Kansas Golf Association Junior Section Team Championship in the top 10 overall after shooting a 37 at Salina Municipal Golf Course.

Inman’s Dylan Jay Teeter finished out the first day of the 2014 Kansas Golf Association Junior Section Team Championship in the top 10 overall after shooting a 37 at Salina Municipal Golf Course.
Teeter, who was in a three-way tie for second in the 11-and-under division, bogeyed the third, fifth and ninth holes and birdied on the sixth to finish 2-over par. Overall, Teeter is tied for 10th with 10 other players.
The 11-and-under division played only the front nine. They will play the back nine starting this morning.
Kale Reynolds of Wichita  is the overall leader after day one with a 6-under 64. Andrew Becker of Topeka, the 2013 Junior Section winner, shot a 66.
