  • Teeter finishes Junior Sectionals at third in 11-and-under division

  • Inman’s Dylan Jay Teeter wrapped up the 2014 Kansas Golf Association’s Junior Section Team Championship Wednesday with a 4-over par 39 on the back nine at Salina Municipal Golf Course.

  • Inman’s Dylan Jay Teeter wrapped  up the 2014 Kansas Golf Association’s Junior Section Team Championship Wednesday with a 4-over par 39 on the back nine at Salina Municipal Golf Course.
    Teeter hit par on holes 15, 17 and 18, but got birdies on holes 10 and 13, bogied on 14 and 16 and double bogied on 11 and 12.
    For the two-day tournament, Teeter finished at 6-over par and in a tie for third place with Will Hedges of Lawrence in the 11-and-under division, which only does nine holes on each of the two days.
    Overall, Teeter in a five-way tie for 26th.
    Andrew Beckler of Topeka came on strong on day two to repeat as the champion. He finished two-under Wednesday, with a two-day total of 134, just a stroke better than Kale Reynolds of  Wichita.
