The McPherson Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of a fully restored 1952 model 60 John Deere tractor in their recent raffle.
Steve and Glenda Schmidt of McPherson won the tractor when their winning ticket, one of three they purchased, was drawn at the Foundation’s Annual Auction Saturday evening Oct. 15. The tractor was donated anonymously to raise money for the Caring for the Future capital campaign for hospital improvements.
“We are grateful to the donors of the tractor for this unique opportunity to raise funds in this way,” said Amy Bower, development director of the McPherson Healthcare Foundation. “And we appreciate everyone who, like the Schmidts, purchased tickets for a chance to win this beautiful piece of agricultural history. We know the tractor has found a good home.”
