The 18th annual Sweet Memories Melodrama will take place Feb. 26 at Mosley Street Melodrama in Wichita. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for cocktails, dinner will be served buffet-style at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. The silent auction will be open from 5 until 7 p.m. A live auction will be held at intermission.

Individual tickets are $85, or a table of eight for $640. Each individual ticket qualifies for a $65 tax deduction; a table of eight qualifies for $480.

The event is dedicated in tribute to Joan Reeder, who died in 1999 from complications related to Alzheimer’s Disease. Joan’s daughter, Patty Reeder, is co-owner of the Mosley Street Melodrama.

Carol Hughes from KFDI Radio will be the returning Master of Ceremony. Over 51,000 people suffer from Alzheimer’s in Kansas. Seventy percent live at home, with 149,000 Kansans serving as 24-hour caregivers. Funds raised will help the Association provide programs and services to our 68 county service area.
