Raymond and Della Alexander will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 21, with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at Pleasant View Home, 601 E. Center St., Inman, Kan. The open house will be held in the coffee shop commons area (near the pool tables). Best access is from the north side, Entrance 3 off of East Harvey Street.
Raymond and Della lived in their country home south of McPherson over 50 years before moving to an apartment in Pleasant View, Inman, two years ago. They are members of the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church and Raymond maintains his membership with the American Legion. Their family line includes two daughters and their husbands, Karin and Bob Boubideaux of Hutchinson, Judy and Glen Hageman of McPherson, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren (counting one on the way).
