Ilda Ford will be celebrating her 100th birthday with an open house at Lakeside Cabin at Lakeside Drive and Euclid, McPherson, on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Ilda Carpenter was born Sept. 13, 1910. She married Everett Ford Aug. 4, 1929. He passed away in November, 1979.
Her children, Gladys Ford, Melvin and Nita Ford, Philip and Esther Urquiola, Warren and Brenda Ford, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren will be hosting the reception.
