The family of Helen Spohn, of Marquette, is requesting a card shower in honor of her 90th birthday.
Helen will celebrate her 90th birthday Friday, March 5, 2010.
She was born March 5, 1920, in Conway, the daughter of Gus and Tina Anderson.
She was united in marriage to Leo R. Spohn Oct. 3, 1940. He passed away in March 1985.
Helen has lived most of her life in the Conway, Windom, Langley and Marquette areas.
She has been a member of the Little River Eastern Star for over 60 years.
Helen has five sons, Lawrence and Saundra Spohn, Marquette, Ross and Effie Spohn of Scott City, Cary and Pauline Spohn of Farmington, N.M., Raymond Spohn of Daytona, Fla. and Doyle and Pat Spohn of Holton.
She has 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
