Stan and Pam (Urban) Hamel of McPherson celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a second honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico.
Stan is from Russell and Pam grew up on a farm near Loretto. Stan is an electrician for Johns Manville and Pam is an Optometric Tech for McPherson Eye Care.
The couple was married in the Cathedral of The Plains, Victoria, on April 12, 1980.
The couple has three children: Jered, married to Jamie (Becker) Hamel, Yukon, Okla.; Andrea, engaged to Firas Mandour of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to be married Nov. 19, 2010, and Brandon, engaged to Rebecca Deeds of Little River, to be married July 17, 2010.
