AUGUSTA — Clayton Ouellette and Alexis Kieffer did all they could to try and keep the McPherson High School bowling teams undefeated, but the Augusta boys and girls had the hot hands to put the first loss in the column for the Bullpups.

The boys were outscored 2,328-2,175. Ouellette led the boys with a 614 series and a high game of 268. Jeff Reed finished with a 524 series and Taylor Miller bowled a 513 series.

Augusta’s Kamron Newman led all bowlers with a 654 series and a 279 high game.

The Augusta girls defeated McPherson 2,073-1,712. The top three highest series came from Augusta, while Kieffer led the Bullpups with a 494 series and a high game of 189. Ashley LaSalle bowled a 470 series as well.

The Bullpups are back in action on Tuesday when they take on Circle. The dual is being held in El Dorado.
