At 4:54 p.m. Thursday, emergency personnel responded to the 1300 block of Eastmoor Drive for a medical emergency. A patient refused service.

At 5:51 p.m. Thursday, emergency personnel responded to the 1300 block North Main Street for a medical emergency. A patient was transported to McPherson Hospital.

Sheriff

At 4:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 19-year-old female for failure to appear. No bond.

At 4:49 a.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a state reportable, non-injury car versus deer accident on northbound Interstate-135 at the 48-mile marker.

At 9:56 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 21-year-old female for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $750.

At 11:25 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 19-year-old man for driving while suspended. He was released on a $250 cash bond.

Animal Control

At 8:42 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 900 block of North Elm Street for a dog at large. Officers impounded a tricolored male hound dog.

Fire

At noon on Thursday, firefighters responded to Simpson and Chestnut Streets for a small grass fire. The fire was extinguished prior to arrival.

MOUNDRIDGE At 7:05 a.m. Thursday, emergency personnel responded to the 1900 block of Iris Village for a medical emergency. A patient was transported to Newton Medical Center.

LINDSBORG — At 4:43 p.m. Thursday, emergency personnel responded to the 300 block of North Chestnut Street for a medical emergency. A patient was transported to Lindsborg Hospital.

LINDSBORG — At 5:14 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to 13th and Winchester for an outside fire. All was OK.

WINDOM — At 5:16 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to the 400 block of Kiowa Road for an outside fire. All was okay.

LINDSBORG — At 5:26 p.m. Thursday, officers and firefighters responded to Coronado and Union Streets in reference to tree limbs in power lines. The lines did not go down and all was OK.
