Kids Summer Series movies

“The Iron Giant”: July 18-20. Kids Summer Series movie showings are at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday at B&B McPherson Cinema IV, 316 N. Main St. McPherson. Tickets are $3 or $2 for Backstage Pass members. Movies in the Park

“The Jungle Book”: the free movie starts at dusk on July 22 at the Lakeside Park Bandshell. In case of rain, movies will be rescheduled if possible.

Movies are hosted by the McPherson Convention & Visitors Bureau and are sponsored by Nex-Tech Wireless, Rep. Les Mason and Sen. Rick Wilborn, First Bank Kansas, Disability Supports of the Great Plains, Hutton Construction and Home State Bank.

Concerts for a Cause

The July 13 free Concert for a Cause performance is by the Ulster Project to benefit the McPherson County Ulster Project. The music series occurs on Thursdays at 7 p.m., at 214 E. Euclid St. McPherson. Entertainment is arranged by Hopp’s Sound & Electric, and an onsite concessions stand donates all proceeds to non-profit organizations.
