Rick and Nancy Trease recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Rick and Nancy (Strobel) Trease were united in marriage July 8, 1967 at First Christian Church in Ashland. After two years living in Dodge City and Minneola, they moved to McPherson with Kansas Power and Light Company.
Rick worked for Sterling Drug and stayed with them through the buyouts, retiring from Hospira after 34 years.
Nancy was employed at Lincoln Elementary School for nine years and retired from Home State Bank and Trust after 29 years.
Their children are Richard and Carmen Trease, Derby and Sondra and Brett Harrington of Gavleston, Texas.
Their grandchildren are Jake and Lyndee Trease, Wichita; Reed Trease, Washburn University; Ben Trease, Dallas Baptist University; Cade Harrington, Hawaii Pacific University; and Kennedy Harrington, Galveston, Texas.
They celebrated their anniversary with a cruise in April, with family in Galveston, Texas in May, and in Tulsa, Oklahoma with their best man Steve (Sharon) Osborn of Fredonia and bridesmaid Myrna (Richard) Beck of Bixby, Oklahoma.
