FALLBROOK, Calif. — Jon Hart Williams passed into eternal life at his home in Fallbrook, California, July 14, 2017, after a short illness.

Jon was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dec. 9, 1964, to Xan (Hart) and Larry Emmett Williams. He began school at Shongum Elementary in Randolph, New Jersey. The family moved back to Tulsa and Jon attended Grissom Elementary School, Thoreau Junior High School and graduated from Holland Hall High School in 1983. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma and began his career in Virginia.

Jon returned to Tulsa and worked in finance. In 1995 he enrolled in graduate school at the University of San Diego and earned a masters in finance in 1997. Jon remained in San Diego County working in corporate finance before starting his own business. He was the owner of Hart Management and Investments and was a distributor for Nature’s Select Pet Food.

Jon and Jennifer Blanchard were united in marriage Dec. 30, 2006.

Jon is survived by Jennifer, their four treasured dogs, his parents Xan and Larry Williams of McPherson; sister Jesslyn Ruth Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunts and uncles Ann and Jay Williams of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Billie Jean and Mark Thompson of Centennial, Colorado; cousins Tracy Thompson of Oakland, California; Marya and Eric Lundstedt, Konrad, Tor and Beda of Wilmette, Illinois; Greg Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Leslie and Keith Hicks, Spencer and Parker of Coppell, Texas; mother- and father-in-law Ginny and Dick Blanchard of South Windsor, Connecticut; sister- and brother-in-law Christine and Paul Beebe, Jack and Nick of South Windsor, Connecticut.

Jon was predeceased by his brother, Paul Emmett Willliams, grandparents Zella (Venrick) and J. Emmett Williams, Hazel Zimmerman Hart and Jefferson Davis Hart Jr.; aunt Jesslyn Jean Hart.

A memorial service will be held at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Jon requested donations to provide veterinary care for pets of needy families.
