The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered participated in an annual intern community service day on July 13. This year, the group volunteered in Hutchinson.

“We truly enjoy getting involved and giving back to the communities we serve,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner at Adams, Brown Beran & Ball, Chartered. “Intern community service day showcases and instills in our interns the commitment we have to our communities.”

Six interns, Matthew Bruner, Elpidio Cortez, Emily Fuller, Hannah Howard, Jordan Rohr, and Rose Yoder, from various firm office locations, participated in the community service event. Throughout the day, they assisted the Boys & Girls Club of Hutchinson and United Way of Reno County with general yardwork, ranging from painting, pulling weeds, landscaping, and cleaning guttering.

In 2017, the firm will employ a total of twelve interns and three student workers who hail from thirteen Kansas communities, including Claflin, Derby, Ellis, Great Bend, Hays, Hutchinson, Inman, Leoti, McPherson, Miltonvale, Oakley, Ulysses, and WaKeeney, as well as Bellefontaine, Ohio and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
