INMAN — Inman Junior/Senior High School’s Nathan Enns has been selected for the National Association for Music Education’s 2017 All-National Honor Band.
Enns is one of 155 talented music students from across the United States and overseas military base schools selected for this honor.
Members of the 2017 All-National Honor Band will travel to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to join the 2017 All-National Honor Band in November.
Enns was selected through a competitive audition process.
Eligible students qualified for their state-level honor ensemble program and competed against top students for a spot in this national honor band.
The Inman High School senior is the son of Gordon and Shannon Enns of Inman.
He will perform in the All-National Honor Band on trumpet and will be conducted by Dr. T. André Feagin, director of bands and assistant professor of music, Coastal Carolina University.
Enns is the third student from Inman’s Junior/Senior High School music program to be named as an All-National Honor Ensembles performer since 2014. Caleb Renner represented Inman in the 2015 All-National Honor Band, and Jacob Doerksen represented Inman in the 2014 and 2015 All-National Honor Mixed Choirs.
